Richard Wolf PowerSpeed AS1 Universal motor system
OrthopedicsThe PowerSpeed AS1 motor system was developed for universal use while providing a high level of ergonomic handling and ease of use. Thanks to the completely reengineered electronic, a more efficient resection is possible. The latest innovations, which will make using the PowerSpeed AS1 even more comfortable, are: a wireless footswitch, the shaver mode and the communication between the PowerSpeed AS1 and the Fluid Control Arthro pump.

Richard Wolf Princess
GynecologySlim 7 mm resectoscope ensures minimal dilation effort
Thanks to its small dimensions, the extremely thin Princess resectoscope from Richard Wolf ensures a low resistance to insertion and minimal dilation effort, and also considerably reduces trauma to the cervical channel. It is therefore especially suitable for a stenotic cervical canal, and in addition works well for patients undergoing fertility and sterility treatment.
This instrument offers incredible comfort and simple handling. The rotating double sheath system allows the working element to rotate through 360° without the outer sheath rotating along in the cervical channel. The result is more freedom of movement. In addition, the continous irrigation sheath offers a clear view throughout the procedure.
One of the main advantages of the Princess resectoscope is that it can be used for both monopolar and bipolar resection, depending on the user’s requirement.
The user can choose from a wide range of electrodes for both monopolar and bipolar applications. A particular shape of the electrode head has been developed specifically for bipolar vaporization. The optimized geometry of the electrode surface ensures that the high-energy plasma can be used in concentrated form for quick and effective tissue vaporization with hardly any loss of blood. The vaporization process evaporates the tissue and so prevents tissue fragments from floating in the dilation medium.
The bipolar vaporization electrode “BIVAP” is excellently suited to endometrium ablation and treatment of myomas. Here too, the 7 mm Princess system impresses with an extremely small space requirement.

Richard Wolf Shark
UrologyFunctional, precise, and efficient, these are the characteristics of the “SHARK” resectoscope. The ergonomically designed and perfectly coordinated overall system impresses with intuitive handling, control and safety. These exceptional criteria have been recognised by the conferral of an iF product design award in 2013.
Intuition as operating principle – joining and separating of the system elements occurs uniformly via snap-on couplings. This technology enables the user to conveniently fit the individual components together.

Richard Wolf System Green
SurgeryReal-time fluorescence imaging with the ENDOCAM Logic 4K platform
System green from Richard Wolf is an excellent visualization of visceral perfusion solution for real-time ICG/NIR fluorescence imaging which meets the highest standards of endoscopic imaging. Indocyanine Green (ICG, available as Verdye in many territories*) is a tricarbocyanine dye, when used with NIR camera systems, will fluoresce and allow visualization of anatomical structures.
ICG/NIR fluorescence imaging has become one of the most valuable technologies in the field of minimally invasive surgery for applications including intraoperative assessment of visceral perfusion (e.g., enteroanastomosis), visualization of biliary structures in fluorescence cholangiography, or lymph node mapping in oncological procedures (e.g. visualization of the sentinel lymph nodes in case of lymphadenectomy).

Richard Wolf TEXAS bronchoscope
Pneumology/ Thoracic SurgeryThe next generation of rigid bronchoscopes
The rigid “TEXAS” bronchoscope was developed in close collaboration with Dr. Garrett Walsh* for diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy. The fully integratable telescope that can be combined with 6 different bronchoscope tubes, ensures optimal visibility and flexibility. The largest possible working channel design allows easy, synchronous or separate introduction of various forceps and instruments.
Thus the TEXAS bronchoscope system is ideally-suited for a wide range of applications, such as biopsy, tumor resection, foreign body removal, stent placement, and extraction.
Thanks to the integrated telescope, intubation of the rigid tube is performed under constant view and thus the procedure is significantly facilitated. When using auxiliary instruments, the telescope is well protected against mechanical influences through the separate telescope channel.

Richard Wolf VERTEBRIS denervation
Spine SurgeryTakes the pain
The VERTEBRIS denervation system for endoscopically controlled facet and sacroiliac joint denervation offers a holistic and impressive system solution in combination with the 4Mhz Radioblator RF generator.
This system improves the success of treatment with visually controlled and precisely focused application of instrumentation and RF energy. The medial and, optionally, lateral branch of the dorsal ramus can be visualized using endoscopically controlled denervation, safely resected and coagulated.

Richard Wolf VERTEBRIS lumbar
Spine SurgeryThe VERTEBRIS lumbar instrument set is designed for full-endoscopic decompression of the lumbar and thoracic spine. Typical indications include herniated discs, spinal cysts and spinal canal stenoses. The following approaches can be done full-endoscopically:
- Transforaminal
- Extraforaminal
- Interlaminar
The excellent optical properties of VERTEBRIS diskoscopes are the basis for intraoperative visualization and guide special instruments into the intraoperative area.
The universal setting of the instruments also makes it possible to expand the indications by gradually adding new components.

Richard Wolf VERTEBRIS stenosis
Spine SurgeryRichard Wolf, working together with pioneering spine surgeons, was the first company to develop a standardized approach to full-endoscopic decompression of lumbar spinal canal stenosis. The Central Stenosis instrument set represents a true milestone of innovation and advancement in spine endoscopy.
A larger telescope with a correspondingly larger intra-endoscope working channel and larger, stronger instruments were necessary for the more extensive bone and ligament resection necessitated in this operation. The VERTEBRIS stenosis Instrument Set is complemented by the universal motor system and a variety of rigid and articulated burrs.
