24 chamber cuffs with wideners
BOA®  Max  2  uses 12 and 24-chamber cuffs . Among the 12-chamber cuffs we distinguish between the lower and upper limb cuffs, the 24-chamber cuffs include trousers for the lower limbs and a jacket for the upper limbs.
The size of each can be increased with the appropriate extenders. Depending on the procedure, different types of cuffs are available (for each part of the body).
Overlapping system
Each chamber in the cuff is connected to the next one, overlapping each other and forming the so-called “Overlapping”. This unique technological solution means that the lymph pushed towards large openings, lymph nodes and vessels does not fall by gravity, but as the next chamber is filled, it is moved in the right direction and pace (according to the manual drainage method).
Safe treatment
As many as 99% of the apparatuses produced do not have an algorithm compatible with the Vodder technique and it is not possible to regulate the pressure in the chambers. The use of such devices can cause excessive accumulation of lymph in the area of ​​its flow to the nodes and, as a consequence, cause swelling, pain and damage .Â

Gradient adjustment
The individually selected maximum pressure is reduced by the program according to the pressure gradient in the lymphatic or venous vessels. As a result of gradient regulation, a strong massage start in parts of the body distant from the inguinal nodes (feet, lower legs) smoothly turns into a medium and low force massage at the level of the thighs, pelvis and abdomen (according to the method of manual drainage).
An individually selected massage rate parameter can be used to conduct lymphatic drainage:
- With short time
- With average time
- With little intensity
- With medium intensity
- With a high and dynamic pace in the case of classic massage
- A strong sports massage can be enhanced with a pulse massage.

Possibility to enter your own parameters
A special feature of BOA®  Max  2  is the ability to enter your own treatment parameters (pressure, gradient, pace, pause, cycle) by selecting one of 16 pre-programmed lymphatic drainage or massage programs.
Possibility to program your own algorithm

The treatment algorithms of the  BOA  ®  Max 2 devices  are based on the lymphatic drainage technique developed by Dr. Emil Vodder. Only technologically advanced devices manufactured by METRUM CRYOFLEX can perform automatic lymphatic drainage using the Vodder technique without the need to invite the masseur home or go to the rehabilitation office.
